Do I Need a Pin Number For Google Adsense ?

When you earn $50.00, Google Adsense will send you a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to the payment address you provided when you signed up. This is just another safeguard Google Adsense has put in place to protect its publishers, but it's an important one.

Once a PIN number has been sent to you, payments from your account will be suspended until you enter the PIN into your account. You can still access your account and make money; You just don't get paid until the PIN is entered. If you haven't signed up within 1 year, your account will be deactivated.

To enter your PIN upon receipt by email, please log in to your Google Adsense account. Click the My Account tab and then click Edit. Update the appropriate field and click Submit Changes. It would also be a good time to double check your contact information and make sure it is correct. You are now well on your way to getting your first Google Adsense check.
